Nous avons beaucoup apprecié notre passage à Frankfurt où le public allemand nous surprend toujours par sa générosité et l'affinité particulière qu'il porte à la culture de notre île.
Nous sommes très touchés par cette relation qui grandira encore plus fort et par le témoignage des gens, que ce soit pendant ou après le concert, notamment avec les élèves de Kim.
L'accoustique de la salle était superbe et était très adaptée à notre prestation "a capella". C'était également la première collaboration avec Achim Meier dont le piano a su caresser nos textes.
Nous avons le simple souhait de revenir encore et encore en Allemagne, d'augmenter ce lien de compréhension et d'échange entre les cultures et les peuples.
A toi qui est à l'origine de ce pas, un grand et infini merci...

“…I've broken up with my family and I can't stay at home any more” …the concert started slowly, in the dark, and I couldn’t see people’s eyes, in the magical Brotfabrik. Slowly as well, people started to enter inside tunes and the imaginary, unusual Sicily evocated in it: the gorgeous island, half dark, half scorching …and the atmosphere become warmer through stories, cities, nuances of this land. “…Your hair is made of three gold threads, which hold my heart captive. Come to the window gold figure” . With great surprise people were understand some Sicilian words and some little places mentioned! So I thought to let them enter more and more inside in something like a film story, "...Why did you love me, blaze of fire if you'd let me down?” .Later, rhythmically, me and the pianist entered in a sort of trance, and people too, understanding I was singing in archaic phrases about Saints, Madonna, ritual places, places where the families fight…and the passionate Sicilian character as well.
